Digital Consulting

Translate business priorities into a technology roadmap. Review processes with the people who use them and prioritize achievable improvements.

Understanding the solution

Digital consulting connects business priorities to decisions about Microsoft 365 and the surrounding application landscape. The work starts with how people complete a task today: where information enters, where someone waits and where another system becomes the authoritative record. Digital Cloud can turn those observations into a staged improvement proposal.

A connected workplace combines communication, shared information and clear working practices. The objective is to help people find the right material and collaborate without creating unmanaged copies or unclear ownership.

Capabilities and scope

Build a practical process map

Interview process owners and frontline users, review example forms and identify duplicate data entry. Record the systems, handoffs and accountable roles for each step rather than treating a software inventory as the whole picture.

Evaluate suitable change

Compare simplifying the process, using existing Teams and SharePoint capabilities, or building a Power Platform solution. Consider integration effort, licensing, data ownership and the team's ability to maintain the result.

Make the roadmap actionable

Prioritize candidates by value, feasibility and dependency. Give the first initiative acceptance criteria, an accountable sponsor and a communication approach, with later projects contingent on evidence.

A practical example

A service team rekeys information from email into spreadsheets and an ERP. Discovery identifies which system should own each field before any automation is proposed.

What your project can deliver

  • Process and application map with pain points
  • Options comparison and documented assumptions
  • Prioritized roadmap with owners and decision checkpoints

The final deliverables, licensing and responsibilities are agreed for your environment before implementation.

Requirements and considerations

Review current team structures, document locations, external collaboration and support arrangements. Training and ownership matter as much as configuration; measure whether people can complete the intended tasks.

Digital Consulting

Project priorities

  1. Process mapping

  2. Priority roadmap

  3. Change ownership

We begin with a conversation about the task, the people involved and the systems already in place. Together we identify what a useful result would look like and which dependencies need attention first. The agreed proposal sets the delivery boundaries, responsibilities and acceptance criteria.

Project phaseWhat happens
01Define the designTranslate the requirements into a practical design. Confirm product choices, interfaces, permissions and the responsibilities needed to operate the solution.
02Deliver in stagesConfigure or implement the agreed scope, test representative workflows and resolve material issues. Plan user communication and any controlled transition from existing systems.
03Prepare for ongoing operationConfirm acceptance, document the relevant configuration and prepare the people responsible for daily use. Define maintenance and support arrangements before handover.

Questions before you start

Must consulting lead to new software?

No. Clear ownership, fewer approval stages or better use of an existing tool may be the appropriate recommendation.

What determines the cost and schedule?

The starting environment, integrations, user groups and agreed outputs determine the effort. We confirm scope and commercial terms before work begins. Software licenses, infrastructure consumption and ongoing support may be separate items.

What will we receive?

The proposal identifies the deliverables: these may include findings, a prioritized roadmap, a tested configuration, a prototype, documentation or training. We agree what is included and how completion will be assessed.

Can this work with our existing systems?

We review the actual applications, data sources and access requirements before recommending an integration. Dependencies and compatibility limits are recorded so the delivery plan reflects your environment.

What happens after the initial work?

You can use the findings to guide your own team or discuss a follow-on phase. Any maintenance, monitoring or support includes separately agreed service hours, responsibilities and response targets.
